Official Opening by Monica McWilliams, Co-founder of the Northern Ireland Women’s Coalition, Signatory of the Good Friday Agreement and Emeritus Professor in the Transitional Justice Institute at Ulster University. In this 25th Anniversary year of the Good Friday Agreement, Monica will outline the role of women in the peace talks, the issues she championed and will provide a colourful ‘behind the scenes’ insight into the Peace Process negotiations. She was appointed Chief Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and later oversight Commissioner for Prison Reform. She has co-authored a report on the disbandment of paramilitary groups and on domestic violence in Northern Ireland. With East Clare Scouts, East Clare Paddlers, De La Lune.

An energetic group of seasoned musicians playing a contemporary blend of uplifting gypsy jazz and swing with classics by the masters Django Reinhardt, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and other greats. Their lively sound is created by the interplay of traditional gypsy jazz instruments, live improvisation and their diverse experienced backgrounds. Festival wristband required.

Qween’s show features a veritable anthology of Queen’s greatest hits from Radio Ga Ga to Somebody to Love, performed fully live. Since their debut in 2018, led by vocalist Brian Keville, Qween have wowed audiences with a theatrical rock show that brings the audience right back in time to the front row of a classic Queen gig. Festival wristband required.
