Artist Helene Rodgers, who comes from Aughrim in Scariff, will hold an exhibition of her work in the Waterways Ireland building in Scariff Harbour over the festival weekend. Check with information desk for opening times

Official Opening by Oisín McConville, a gifted Gaelic footballer from South Armagh, now a well-known TV, radio and print sports pundit and addiction counsellor. A holder of All-Ireland senior, provincial, club and All-Star titles, he is considered one of Armagh’s best ever players. Having lived through the Troubles in Northern Ireland, a section of his home GAA park in Crossmaglen was requisitioned by the British Army as a military base until possession was regained post-1998 and the Good Friday Agreement. Beset by his own troubles, Oisín’s story of addiction recovery is recalled in his book ‘The Gambler’.10th Clare Scout troop with displays and activities and scouting games for kids. Static Vision are a four piece rock band currently based, and on the up, in Limerick City. Guitarist and vocalist Cian O\'Dowd has spent the last few years writing songs, with his brother Tom on bass, cousin Paddy on lead guitar and long time school friend Stephen on drums. In the Summer of 2017, the band recorded its’ first 10 track EP \'What is and Now\', available on all social music platforms. Festival wristband required.

Jake Carter’s career is riding on the crest of a wave. Having recently won RTE’s Dancing with the Stars, Jake is also making a name for himself with a musical career following in the footsteps of his older brother Nathan. With singles Trouble, Having A Party and Wild and Free under his belt, Jake promises to liven up the night in Scariff. Who knows, he may even do a dance! Festival wristband required.
